Our Week in Sydney

Post-whirlwind house move, Ruby and I dashed across to Sydney last week to visit the Missoni Home showroom.

Taking advantage, of course, of every spare moment we explored the outstanding restaurants and retail spaces Sydney has to offer. Below are our top picks for a great week in Sydney...

Rockwall apartment, Potts Point. This was such a great place to stay. Beautiful and central and very leafy, with the right amount of buzz and fantastic eateries nearby, all in easy walking distance. Highly recommended.

We had our first dinner experience at Butlers Pantry. After walking through a tiny entrance off the street, you arrive in a beautiful, airy space which also comes with a great view!

Bills Darlinghurst for breakfast - we may have gone twice, and ordered the classics: scrambled eggs, and ricotta hotcakes. After breakfast we strolled around Potts Point, Elizabeth Bay, Darlinghurst, Surry Hills. (Loved all of the Sydney flowers spilling onto the street.) And quick trip to Bondi to get our feet wet!

The Farm Wholefoods. Here, we stocked up on snacks for during the day, and called in for smoothies. Delicious.

Missoni Home 2016, Spence & Lyda showroom. (Arriving soon... Agence de Parfum - a new perfume collection coming that beautifully complements L'Artisan. Divine.)

Dinner at Yellow - This restaurant has just gone completely vegetarian and was outstanding - a must visit. And bonus, you can book!

Life Instyle show. Dinner at Ms G's - always a winner!

On Saturday morning we checked out the Kings Cross Markets just up the road - loads of fresh food stalls and locals doing their shopping. After that, we took a walk down to Woolamaloo and The Domain/Mrs Macquaries Point.

It's lovely to have a change of environment every now and then, soak up the ideas and offerings of a new city and return home refreshed and inspired. Thanks, Sydney - until next time!
