The Albers Foundation, in collaboration with Christopher Farr Cloth have created a range of fabrics based on the interlocking pattern featured in Albers’ Meander screenprints from 1969-71. Albers began making prints in the 1960. In this series of prints bright colours and their grey undershadow record a complex and meandering path. These patterns bring to mind the labyrinth floors found in The Basilica of St. Quentin and Chartres Cathedral in France.
