The Library Relief Box is part of the prolific collaboration between New York’s king of decoupage, John Derian, and celebrated French ceramic maison Astier de Villatte. Colourful images drawn from luxuriant nature and shimmering objects adorn luminous white ceramics, transforming everyday pieces into poetic works of art.

This open-top ceramic box is perfect for storing keepsakes, stationery, or small treasures. Handmade in Astier de Villatte’s Parisian workshops, each piece bears the maison’s artisanal signature: white enamel with subtle glimpses of natural brown clay beneath, ensuring no two are ever alike. A collectible object — functional, decorative, and infused with the artistry of two celebrated design houses.

Size: 105 x 85 x 60mm. Handmade ceramic, made in Paris.

ABOUT the MAKER

Astier de Villatte

Discover the quietly distinctive world of Astier de Villatte — the celebrated French maison known for its handcrafted ceramics, home fragrance, lighting, and artisanal objects made in Paris. Formed from black terracotta clay and finished in Astier’s signature milky white glaze, each ceramic piece celebrates the beauty of the handmade through organic forms, delicate detailing, and softly irregular finishes. Alongside its iconic ceramics, Tessuti’s Astier de Villatte collection includes candles, incense, perfume, hand care, glassware, linen tea towels, and decorative home objects designed to bring beauty and atmosphere to everyday rituals. Timeless, playful, and unmistakably Parisian, these are objects to live with and treasure for years to come.
