CABANA Magazine No17

A publication about intimacy; exploring the close relationship each person has with interiors...

CABANA Magazine is truly like no other. The German word gemütlich sums up the Cabana vision, an inviting feeling of warmth and sense of space. Whether it be a palazzo, a flat, a folly or a hut, the Cabana mood is an appreciation of the sensory and experiential characteristics of interiors.

Founded in Milan in 2014 by Martina Mondadori, Christoph Radl and Gianluca Reina, the magazine aims to inspire a new generation of travel and culture lovers by taking them on a journey through sophistication, collecting, colours and fabrics. Each issue of the Cabana is a collector's item...

CABANA Magazine No17, features textile covers by Belmond. Issue 17 will take you on a cross-continental voyage of discovery, from Mexico to Venice, New York and Paris, via the south of France and the English countryside. Journey through Mexico’s Yucatán Peninsula and explore Rose Tarlow’s extraordinary house and gardens in Provence. Stop off at Houghton Hall, one of England’s finest Palladian houses captured by Ashley Hicks, and join Cosmo Brockway for a tour of a quintessentially English 17th century folly house. Journey further and discover François Halard’s wonderful capture of the interiors at Cy Twombly’s house at Bassano in Teverina, a remote village in northern Lazio.
