These terms and conditions govern your use of the Tessuti online store. By placing an order, you agree to and are bound by these terms. If you are unwilling to comply with these terms then you may not use Tessuti online store.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGE POLICY
Domestic Orders (New Zealand):
Tessuti accepts returns or exchanges of full-price items within 7 days of delivery. Customers must notify Tessuti within 48 hours of receiving their order by contacting shop@tessuti.co.nz.
International Orders (Rest of the World):
Tessuti accepts returns or exchanges of full-price items within 14 days of delivery. Customers must notify Tessuti within 48 hours of receiving their order by contacting shop@tessuti.co.nz.
To process a return or exchange, customers must provide their order number or buyer information. Tessuti reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges submitted outside the specified timeframes or without proper notification.
RETURNS AND ASSOCIATED COSTS
Unless an item is deemed to have a genuine issue in quality or craftsmanship, or an incorrect item has been sent, all shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. This includes the cost of returning the item to Tessuti, as well as any additional shipping fees for replacements or exchanges.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning items, as Tessuti cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
PRODUCT CONCERNS AND WARRANTY
At Tessuti, we take great care to ensure all items meet our considered quality standards. Should you have any concerns regarding your purchase, please contact us at shop@tessuti.co.nz within 7 days of receiving your order, and we will assess it with care and at our discretion.
Where a genuine issue in craftsmanship or quality is identified, we will arrange a replacement where possible. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be offered. Alternatively, we are happy to assist with an exchange for another piece.
Please note that due to the artisanal and handcrafted nature of many of our collections, subtle variations and natural characteristics are to be expected and are not considered imperfections.
DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us promptly at shop@tessuti.co.nz so we can liaise with the courier and assist in resolving the matter. All claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery, along with supporting images of the item and packaging. Please note that Tessuti may be unable to process claims submitted outside of this timeframe.
Tessuti will work closely with our delivery partners to investigate and resolve the claim. While this process is underway, we will keep you informed and ensure an appropriate resolution is provided in line with our obligations.
SALE ITEMS
All sale purchases are final and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. We kindly ask that you review your selections carefully before completing your purchase.
PRICING AND PAYMENT
All prices on the Tessuti online store are given in New Zealand Dollars exclusive of delivery costs.
We accept payment by direct transfer (from NZ customers only), credit card, and Afterpay (NZ only). Credit card payments are processed by Shopify Payments. No card details are stored by Shopify Payments.
CUSTOMS OR IMPORT DUTIES
Tessuti online store has no control over any customs or import duties that could be levied when the package reaches your destination country and for which you will be liable. Please see our Shipping + Returns page for more information about delivery costs and delivery dates.
DISCOUNT INCLUSIONS
Our TESSUTI10 and WELCOMEBACK10 discount codes are available on the following collections only and on orders over $100 only. Each code may be used once per customer and cannot be combined with any other promotional offers.

AVAILABILITY
All items are subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available. We have a physical store which shares the stock inventory so if an item in our physical store is purchased and sold the same time an order for the item online is processed then the online item will not be available. In this case, we will inform you as soon as possible and do our best to fulfil the order, cancel the order or help in any other way we can.
Some products are only available to customers in New Zealand due to shipping restrictions. This will be specified in the description of the product page.
ONLINE PROCESS
We must receive payment in full before your order can be accepted. Once payment has been received by us we will confirm that your order has been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Items will then be dispatched once payment has been received. For more information regarding delivery dates and times please refer to the Shipping and Returns page.
CANCELLATIONS
Once an order has been placed you are welcome to cancel or make order adjustments prior to order dispatch. Please note: orders are typically dispatched the same or next day.
CONTENT ACCURACY
We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct at the time of publication. However, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any variation in colour caused by the browser software or computer system used by you.
Prices on the site are current at the time of display and subject to variation without notice. We will do our best to display accurate descriptions and pricing but are unable to warrant the site be error-free. We shall not be liable to any person for any loss or damage which may arise from the use of any of the information contained in any of the products on this website.
