New Zealand: Free shipping on orders over $250*
Australia: Flat rate shipping on all orders of $45*
Tessuti is based in Auckland, New Zealand, and we offer shipping both locally and internationally across our curated collections of home, lifestyle, and artisanal pieces.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the size, weight, and destination of your order. Please note that rural deliveries may incur an additional charge.
Certain oversized or fragile items may require specialised handling and may not be eligible for standard or complimentary shipping. In such cases, a separate freight quote will be provided following checkout. Should you choose not to proceed with the additional shipping cost, we are happy to offer alternative options, including a refund.

FRAGILE AND OVERSIZED ORDERS
Shipping rates are calculated based on the delivery destination as well as the size and weight of the item. However, certain oversized, fragile, or high-volume orders may require additional shipping charges due to special handling requirements. Where possible, these will be reflected at checkout; however, if further freight costs apply, we will contact you with a separate shipping quote prior to dispatch.
Should you choose not to proceed with the additional shipping cost, we are happy to offer alternative options, including a refund.
Tessuti takes great pride in the products offered and the delivery methods used. All products are packaged carefully to ensure they reach you safely. You can also add any special delivery instructions in notes at checkout.
Once items have been picked up, you will receive an email with your tracking information.
Tessuti will always advise if we expect any delay, however we cannot guarantee time frames for rural or international shipping as our providers do not have direct control over all parts of the international delivery chain - particularly customs!
ADDITIONAL SHIPPING CHARGES
For certain fragile or oversized items, additional shipping costs may apply following checkout due to specialised handling requirements. In such cases, we will be in touch with a separate additional freight quote prior to dispatch.
Should you choose not to proceed with the additional shipping cost, you are welcome to cancel your order and a full refund can be arranged. Alternatively, we are happy to assist with an exchange for other items and provide an updated shipping quote.
GIFTING AND PACKAGING
Tessuti offers a thoughtful gift wrapping service for those wishing to send a special piece to a loved one. At checkout, you will find the option to add Gift Wrapping, along with a notes section to include a personalised message. Simply enter the recipient’s delivery details under shipping, and we will take care of the rest.
We take great pride in the presentation of every order, carefully wrapping each item to reflect the considered and beautiful nature of our collections. Our aim is to provide a seamless and elevated gifting experience, from selection through to delivery.
CUSTOM CHARGES ON INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
Tessuti has no control over any international customs duties, import taxes, or fees that may be applied once your order reaches its destination country. These charges vary by location and are the responsibility of the recipient.

UNITED STATES - DUTIES AND TARIFFS
Orders shipped to the United States may be subject to import duties, tariffs, and taxes applied by the U.S. Customs. As of recent changes to U.S. import regulations, duties may apply to all shipments regardless of value.
These charges are not included in your order total and are the responsibility of the recipient. Tessuti does not have control over these fees and cannot predict their amount, as they are determined by U.S. Customs and Border Protection.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
All Tessuti products are carefully hand-selected and packed with attention to detail. While we trust our team and delivery partners to handle your order with care, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied, please refer to our return guidelines below:
Domestic Orders (New Zealand):
Tessuti accepts returns or exchanges of full-price items within 7 days of delivery. Customers must notify Tessuti within 48 hours of receiving their order by contacting shop@tessuti.co.nz.
International Orders (Rest of the world):
Tessuti accepts returns or exchanges of full-price items within 14 days of delivery. Customers must notify Tessuti within 48 hours of receiving their order by contacting shop@tessuti.co.nz.
To process a return or exchange, customers must provide their order number or customer information. Tessuti reserves the right to refuse returns or exchanges submitted outside the specified timeframes or without proper notification.
RETURNS AND ASSOCIATED COSTS
Unless an item is deemed to have a genuine issue in quality or craftsmanship, or an incorrect item has been sent, all shipping costs associated with returns or exchanges are the responsibility of the customer. This includes the cost of returning the item to Tessuti, as well as any additional shipping fees for replacements or exchanges.
We recommend using a tracked shipping service when returning items, as Tessuti cannot be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit.
PRODUCT CONCERNS AND WARRANTY
At Tessuti, we take great care to ensure all items meet our considered quality standards. Should you have any concerns regarding your piece, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order, and we will assess it with care and at our discretion.
Where a genuine issue in craftsmanship or quality is identified, we will arrange a replacement where possible. If a replacement is unavailable, a refund or store credit will be offered. Alternatively, we are happy to assist with an exchange for another piece.
Please note that due to the artisanal and handcrafted nature of many of our collections, subtle variations and natural characteristics are to be expected and are not considered imperfections.
DAMAGED IN TRANSIT
If your order arrives damaged, please notify us promptly at shop@tessuti.co.nz so we can liaise with the courier and assist in resolving the matter. All claims must be submitted within 7 days of delivery, along with supporting images of the item and packaging. Please note that Tessuti may be unable to process claims submitted outside of this timeframe.
Tessuti will work closely with our delivery partners to investigate and resolve the claim. While this process is underway, we will keep you informed and ensure an appropriate resolution is provided in line with our obligations.
SALE ITEMS
All sale purchases are final and cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged. We kindly ask that you review your selections carefully before completing your purchase.
PAYMENT AND CREDIT CARD SECURITY
All prices are in New Zealand dollars and include GST. Your credit card will be charged in New Zealand dollars. If you are purchasing from outside New Zealand the cost price is the GST inclusive price, and you will be responsible for any customs or other duty payable on your goods when they arrive at their destination.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and bank deposits. If you would like to pay by bank deposit, please email shop@tessuti.co.nz directly with your desired order details.
We also offer Afterpay online. You will need to register with Afterpay to use this payment method, all the information is on the product pages for you.
We take customer security very seriously. We use DPS and shopify, both of which are PCI-CSS secure service providers, to process payments. All your credit card details are encrypted to the highest commercially available security level, as required by VISA and MasterCard worldwide. This encryption makes it virtually impossible for unauthorised parties to read any information that you send us.
As these secure hosting providers process all payments we have no access to any credit card numbers or bank details at any time.
