With Love

The slow act of giving and receiving handwritten notes...

The joy in writing cards to those we love and cherish, is really only felt because we know how it feels to be on the receiving end: the surprise of a little hand addressed envelope sitting at the bottom of the letterbox, the intimacy of tearing at the licked-closed seal, the reveal of the chosen words, some with exclamation marks, some squished down the side, too many kisses symbols and a sweet doodle in the corner. That someone was thinking of you when you were oblivious to the attention, is always a heart warming experience. This is the joy in giving - the understanding of where the gesture began.

Perhaps Christmas is not always about the gift, but the messages attached. We encourage an afternoon spent writing to those that have supported, loved, and helped us throughout the year, and letting them know that they are appreciated...
