The Art of Arranging
"Pare down to the essence, but don't remove the poetry."
One could say that the bedroom dresser hosts our most personal and treasured items. The arrangement is built over time: birthday cards with unforgettable messages, handed-down paintings, boxes of jewellery or collected shells, flowers and fragrance. It is an interesting combination of objects that are either functional or sentimental, sometimes both. Which reminds us of something author Leonard Koren said of the beauty of soulful arranging: "Pare down to the essence, but don't remove the poetry."
