The Cubist Garland (White) by Tsé & Tsé is a quietly iconic piece — a gentle companion to daily life that brings softness, calm, and atmosphere rather than illumination.

Composed of 25 hand-crafted white paper cubes, each threaded like beads along a fine electric wire, the Cubist Garland drifts naturally along room corners, shelves, or wall edges, always finding a place to nestle. As evening falls, its soft LED glow comes alive — not to light a space, but to soften it. It’s the light you turn on when you arrive home, leave on as a welcoming marker for friends, or let glow late into the night as conversations linger.

Originally the first Tsé & Tsé object to permanently integrate low-level lighting into the home, the Cubist Garland has since become the “grand dame” of the collection — playful, reassuring, and timeless. In white, the form feels especially serene and architectural, allowing light and shadow to take centre stage. Updated with energy-efficient LEDs, it balances charm with thoughtful modern design.

Each paper cube is handmade in Auroville, India, one of the world’s most socially progressive communities, before being carefully assembled in France. Subtle variations and imperfections are part of its beauty — quiet signs of genuine craftsmanship rather than flaws.
