The Jasmin Vase pairs a tall, tapered cup with an elaborate cast base — scrolled feet, carved detail, closer to a classical urn than a simple vessel. John Derian's jasmine motif trails up the cup in fine botanical illustration, a single yellow bloom breaking the green.
Created in collaboration between Astier de Villatte and New York designer John Derian, the motif is applied as a fired decal, archival imagery selected by John Derian and fused permanently into the glaze. At this height, the vase carries a loose, trailing arrangement with ease.
