A notepad built around the pleasures of letter writing — the kind that appears again and again in Wes Anderson's films, from perfumed notes at the Grand Budapest Hotel to the tender correspondence of young lovers in Moonrise Kingdom. Inside, 128 sheets of coloured letter paper are divided across eight films: The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, The Darjeeling Limited, Hotel Chevalier, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Rushmore, The French Dispatch, and The Phoenician Scheme. Each film has its own letterhead and coloured paper; together they form a spectrum along the spine when the pad is closed.
A collaboration between Wes Anderson, Astier de Villatte, and the artist-edition house We Do Not Work Alone. The covers are hand-printed on historic Heidelberg letterpress machines, reproducing a geometric motif drawn from Benicio del Toro's kimono in The Phoenician Scheme — each one slightly different as a result of the printing process.
128 sheets across 8 film-themed letterhead designs, 16 sheets per film.
