Loco Love

Loco Love was founded in Byron Bay by Emica Penklis, who believed that food can change how we feel and that chocolate deserves the same care in the making as in the eating. Each bar begins with organic cacao from small fair-trade farms in Peru's Amazon regions, where long-term partnerships support farming families and their communities.

The recipes leave out refined sugar, palm oil, gluten and dairy. Instead they are sweetened with coconut blossom sugar, dates and maple, and their flavour comes from wholefood ingredients such as Medjool dates, maple-roasted nuts, cold-pressed olive oil and toasted black sesame. Every bar is wrapped in FSC-certified, plant-based packaging that breaks down in a home compost.

At Tessuti we carry the Loco Love Twin Packs: two bars boxed together in the brand's signature colours. They make a small gift with real substance, or a reason to slow down at the end of the day.
