The Arnold Circus Stool in Chalk is a modern design classic — playful, practical, and quietly architectural. Originally conceived in 2006 by Martino Gamper as part of a regeneration project for Arnold Circus in Shoreditch, London, the stool has since become an enduring icon of contemporary public design.
This version is made under licence in New Zealand, crafted from 100% recyclable polyethylene plastic using rotational moulding. Our mould offers a slightly more generous seating area than the original UK version, providing added comfort while preserving the stool’s sculptural proportions. Subtle surface variations may occur — a natural outcome of the moulding process and part of each piece’s character.
Lightweight yet robust, the Arnold Circus Stool is effortlessly versatile — equally suited as extra seating, a side table, or a functional accent indoors or outdoors. Finished in a soft chalk white, it brings a calm, architectural presence to both residential and commercial spaces.
