A limited-edition porcelain box, handcrafted in Japan, housing À LA's Aquilaria incense. The box is as considered as its contents — an incense holder is built directly into the lid, and each piece bears the subtle variations that come from being made entirely by hand.
Aquilaria anchors the composition with agarwood — one of the natural world's rarest woods. Resinous, smoky, and slow to unfold, it suits quiet mornings or the close of an evening. The smoke is low and measured; the presence lingers.
Agarwood forms the foundation: enveloping, faintly resinous, with a warm smokiness reminiscent of dried hay in sun. Sandalwood brings a powdery softness at the heart, easing the depth without diminishing it. Patchouli closes with an earthy, sweetly oriental character.
