Italian Marble Plum - Red

Hand-carved from a solid piece of white Carrara marble, this plum is hand-painted in deep red and black, brushed over with silvery grey so the surface shifts from glossy to dusty. A carved cleft runs down one side, and a natural fruit stem is set into the top.

Its rounded, compact form sits easily in a bowl with other marble fruits, or on its own as a single dark note of colour on a shelf or table.

Approximate dimensions: 5cm D x 5.5cm H.
