A four-petalled flower rosette repeats across a sage and ochre checkerboard ground — a pattern with the quiet, geometric character of medieval floor tiles or early printed paper. The motif is small and precise, the overall effect unhurried. Part of Slow's Libri Muti (Mute Books) series, this smaller-format notebook is made entirely by hand in Florence using traditional printing and bookbinding techniques that Founders Roberto di Filitto and Nathalie Schneider have spent years researching and reviving.
The page edges are hand-coloured in mint green. Pages are PEFC-certified and acid-free.
