A damask of scrolling acanthus and symmetrical floral motifs in warm gold covers the canvas on a deep teal ground — a colour combination that recalls the cut velvets and brocades of Renaissance Venice. The pattern has the worn, layered quality of aged textile, printed with the texture of something handled over centuries. Part of Slow's Libri Muti (Mute Books) series, this smaller-format notebook is made entirely by hand in Florence using traditional printing and bookbinding techniques that Founders Roberto di Filitto and Nathalie Schneider have spent years researching and reviving.
The page edges are hand-coloured in teal. Pages are PEFC-certified and acid-free.
