Tessuti Library - Issue 01

Tessuti Library, Issue 01 marks thirty-three years of the store's collaborations, told through the images and voices of the makers and creative partners who have shaped it. Photography by Greta van der Star, Ophelia Jones, Yasmine Ganley and Jiho Yun carries a gentle, unhurried mood throughout, styled and directed by Alison McIntosh. Rather than a chronology, the book is structured around four seasons — autumn for creation, winter for rest, spring for growth, summer for joy — each with its own register of light and pace.

Inside, still lifes of fruit, flowers and ceramics sit alongside interiors and quiet domestic moments, interspersed with quotes from the makers Tessuti works alongside. Designed by Natasha Sawicki Mead of 1/1 Studio, the book runs to 138 pages in a cloth-bound softcover, sized to sit easily on a considered shelf. As the first in an ongoing series, Issue 01 sets the register for what follows.
