The Sound of the Sea

An end of summer getaway to Sydney...

Wrapped up in soft worn-in pyjamas, a pile of books on the bed, dozing between chapters and cradled in dreams... There is nothing like sleeping in a room next to the ocean listening a chorus of waves lap on the rocks below.

We love finding quiet corners of the world like an old seaside cottage or boat shed filled with treasures that have been collected over the years. This house is just that. It is just a few hours north of Sydney tucked on the edge of the National Park and only accessible by boat. A perfect place for a weekend sans city noise and busy days. Somewhere to luxuriate in soft velvet slippers, to read by candle light and cook on the open fire after days filled with ocean dips. An end of summer getaway...
