Rings by Charlotte Penman and Louise Douglas — from slender bands to gemstone-set designs, each one made by hand in New Zealand.

Charlotte works in sterling silver and solid gold, setting natural stones — emerald, green quartz — in forms drawn from ancient jewellery traditions. Her rings are designed to be worn with conviction: a statement piece or a quiet accent, depending on how they are carried. Louise's rings are cast from nature in her Nelson studio, oxidised to a dark antique tone that softens with wear.
