Every surface of the Blossom Bag — body and all — is covered in small crocheted flowers, no ground visible beneath them, the bag existing entirely as bloom. The palette shifts from pale blush and dusty sage at the edges to deeper ochre, warm brown, and dark moss at the centre, the colours moving across the surface with the subtle variation of something gathered rather than arranged.
Worked in raffia and carded wool by the women artisans Sophie Digard has long collaborated with in Madagascar, every flower is crocheted individually by hand before being assembled into the finished piece. No two bags are identical.
