Bourdon Haute Cushion 30x60

$1278 NZD

The Bourdon Haute Cushion is a refined expression of heritage craftsmanship and couture detail, curated by Peter Copping — celebrated British designer and current Artistic Director at Lanvin, formerly of Oscar de la Renta and Nina Ricci.

Each cushion is individually handcrafted in Normandy at La Carlière, the 15th-century château Peter shares with his husband, Rambert Rigaud. The Bourdon design features embroidered bands, velvet ribbons, and sections of 18th-century needlepoint applied to a vegetable-dyed patterned wool base. The velvet ribbons are secured with whip stitching, adding textural richness. Finished with silk velvet piping, a block-printed reverse, and full lining.

Sustainably made and almost entirely upcycled, no two cushions are alike — each one an heirloom of artistry and care.

Dimensions: 35 x 60cm.

Handmade in Normandy, France.

Comes complete with a calico dust-bag.

Please note: due to their antique materials, each cushion is one of a kind. For international orders, covers only (no inner) can be shipped.
