Woven on a jacquard loom at a historical Italian mill, the Kelly throw works with a deceptively simple idea: a vertical stripe interrupted by horizontal bands of colour. The rust stripes run continuously from top to bottom, but the background shifts beneath them — powder blue giving way to sage, sage returning to blue — so the same stripe reads differently depending on where your eye lands. The result is a throw that repays looking at.
The cloth is a fine blend of lambswool and cashmere, soft-felted to give warmth without weight. Each edge is finished by hand with a rolled cord of contrasting thread — a detail that is both functional and precisely right. In Blue Sage and Russet, the cool and the warm hold each other in careful tension — neither dominates, and the sage between them makes sure of it.
