Two oxidised sterling silver pods, pierced with an open coral-like lattice, hanging from handmade sterling silver hooks.
Made in Louise Douglas's Nelson studio using the lost wax casting technique, each pod is hand-carved in wax before being cast in sterling silver, hand-finished, and oxidised to a dark antique tone. Hollow and lightweight despite their presence, they move with the wearer — the open lattice catching and releasing light as they turn. At 17mm in diameter they make a considered statement, sitting close to the ear without weight.
