As a 17 year old, Luca's love for ceramics began only three years ago when need for occupation during covid 19 introduced her to clay and glaze. Based from the corner of her garage she began sculpting clay using the wheel as well as hand-sculpting techniques. Inspired by the intricate illustrations of children's picture books, dedication and natural talent have allowed her to quickly develop a distinctive style.

Luca loves the way pottery gives her the opportunity to design, sculpt, draw and paint. It is a collection of different mediums which she is able to master in order to create unique ceramic pieces. Luca has always been drawn to creating small-scale illustrations, as she loves the way intricate details can evoke amazement and appreciation from viewers. With each piece meticulously hand-made and painted, her work embodies the perfect blend of artistry and craftsmanship.
