The Baladi Hand Blown Glass Light is an illuminated sculpture — a cluster of small, hand-formed glass drops that glow with gentle, atmospheric light. Each piece is completely unique: every drop is mouth-blown from recycled glass in Damascus using traditional furnaces, without moulds, then assembled by hand on a metal structure in France.
Organic, tactile, and full of quiet radiance, the Baladi light carries a long lineage of craftsmanship. Originally created in the 1950s by a Damascus glassblower, these clusters were once hung outdoors in courtyards and terraces as decorative objects. Later, an electric bulb was introduced, transforming the cluster into the luminous design.
A captivating standalone object — glowing softly whether displayed on a tabletop or shelf — and a true collector’s piece of hand-blown glass.
