The Perch Floor Lamp, by Tsé & Tsé Associées, is a sculptural lighting piece that celebrates the joy of nature and the quiet intelligence of French design.
Turned from the arm of an ash tree, the gilded wooden column reveals supple grain and warm, honeyed tones. Rising gracefully from a simple circular base, the lamp becomes a vertical landscape on which three porcelain Cornettes perch at varying heights. Each can be gently rotated, allowing the light to be directed with ease and intention.
Smooth to the eye and the touch, the glazed porcelain shades diffuse a soft, velvety glow. Depending on the bulb chosen, The Perch can provide focused illumination for reading or working, or a more ambient light to soften an evening space beside a sofa or armchair.
