La Balladeuse is a pendant lamp of quiet, considered charm — a small pleated shade in pale silk, hand-gathered and finished with a delicate frilled trim at crown and hem. When lit, the fabric diffuses light warmly through its pleats, casting a soft, intimate glow rather than filling a room. The twisted braided flex runs three metres, with an inline switch at two metres. Compact at 10 × 10cm and entirely handmade in Pascale Palun's Avignon studio, it is a piece as much for looking at as for living with.
