The Baladi Hand-Blown Glass Light is an illuminated sculpture of rare character, crafted from clusters of individually mouth-blown glass drops. Made using traditional Syrian glass-blowing techniques, each drop is shaped by hand from recycled glass, giving the piece its signature organic texture and soft, watery translucence.
Every cluster is unique — the drops are blown without moulds, then gathered onto a metal structure in France, forming a glowing bloom that casts delicate patterns of light and shadow. Originally created in Damascus in the 1950s as hanging garden ornaments, these glass pieces continue to be made in the same workshops.
Atmospheric, and deeply artisanal, the Baladi Light brings a sense of living craft into the home — a luminous object that feels both ancient and modern.
