The Baladi Hand Blown Glass Light – Colour Tutti Frutti is a luminous expression of artistry and heritage. Each sculptural light is formed from clusters of mouth-blown glass drops in vivid hues of amber, green, blue, and rose — assembled by hand on a metal frame.
Every drop is shaped without a mould in traditional Syrian furnaces, using recycled glass to create subtle variations in tone and form. The result is a one-of-a-kind object that glows with joyful colour and soft radiance, transforming natural light by day and casting a whimsical constellation of colour by night.
Originally crafted in 1950s Damascus as decorative courtyard ornaments, these glass clusters have been reimagined as light fixtures, preserving their timeless charm while elevating them into objects of modern design. Handblown in Syria and assembled in France, each piece embodies a dialogue between tradition and contemporary craftsmanship.
