Berit Napkins - set of 4

$199.50 NZD

The Berit Table Napkins bring historical elegance and everyday function together. Adapted from an 18th-century Ghent textile, this rhythmic floral motif reflects the “Indiennes” tradition—European block-prints inspired by Indian chintz. Originally hand-crafted between 1790 and 1800, its delicate detailing is reimagined here in a grounded palette of navy, cream, and tan.

Crafted in Portugal from a soft, durable blend of 55% Italian linen and 45% cotton, these napkins offer a relaxed, lived-in texture at 220 GSM. Perfect for both daily dining and special occasions, they bring heritage charm and refined simplicity to any table.

Each set of four napkins measures 46 × 46 cm and is machine-washable for easy care.

ABOUT the MAKER

Autumn Sonata

Autumn Sonata is a design atelier dedicated to reimagining the past through a refined, contemporary lens. Founded by Lilli Elias in 2022, the studio weaves together archival research and modern design sensibility to create thoughtful home furnishings that honour history while embracing the present. Each collection begins with the discovery of storied objects—antique prints, heirlooms, and forgotten fragments—sourced from European estates. These pieces are then reinterpreted into elegant, functional forms for modern interiors, preserving the spirit of their history while offering renewed purpose. Rooted in archival practice and guided by a deep respect for craftsmanship, Autumn Sonata’s designs create a poetic connection between eras. At Tessuti, we are proud to present this evolving collection—timeless furnishings that invite you to live with beauty, memory, and meaning.
