The Berit Tablecloth is drawn from an 18th-century Ghent textile discovered through Autumn Sonata's archival practice — a block-printed floral from the period between 1790 and 1800, shaped by the "Indiennes" tradition of European printmaking inspired by Indian chintz. That cross-cultural lineage is legible in the motif's rhythm: flowering vines that repeat across the cloth with the confidence of something long-established.
Printed on a 55% Italian linen and 45% cotton blend at 220 GSM, Berit has the soft, relaxed hand of washed table linen. The dark navy ground carries cream and amber florals across the cloth, a colourway that works as naturally at a weekday table as it does for a more considered setting.
