A hand-carved bangle cast in oxidised sterling silver, its surface covered in the dense, pitted texture of coral.
Made in Louise Douglas's Nelson studio using the lost wax casting technique, the bangle is hand-carved in wax before being cast in sterling silver, hand-finished, and oxidised to a dark antique tone. The coral surface catches and holds the light across its full circumference — tactile in the hand, considered on the wrist. Worn alone or added to a stack, it carries the quiet weight of something made to last.
