At its centre, a delicately rendered crescent moon motif emerges against a blue background — a subtle, dreamlike image that draws the eye and invites a sense of reflection. Known for his evocative, image-led work, John Derian brings a layer of narrative to Astier’s timeless forms, transforming a simple saucer into a piece of quiet storytelling.

Handmade in Astier de Villatte’s Parisian workshops, the ceramic is finished in the maison’s signature white glaze, revealing soft irregularities and glimpses of warm brown clay beneath — a hallmark of its artisanal process. Each piece is unique.
