The Gisele Candlestick stands on a tall, fluted stem with a gently flared base, the vertical line finished at the top by a scalloped cup. Decorative relief runs down the base in narrow beaded columns, adding rhythm without crowding the form.
Finished in the milky white glaze characteristic of Astier de Villatte, the surface shows glimpses of brown clay beneath, most visible along the raised detail. Styled alone or in a pair, it holds a single taper candle.
