The Grace Saucer carries a fine double rim, a red band running just inside a black line, with a single line drawing of a mouse at the centre, drawn by Grace Coddington and applied as a fired decal, fused permanently into the glaze.
Part of the Grace Collection, Grace Coddington's first series of teacups, teapots, and saucers for Astier de Villatte, in which mischievous cats drink tea, read the newspaper, and pay court to one another, always in the company of a friendly mouse or two.
