Hollywood, seen from a distance — the hills dry and golden, the air carrying eucalyptus and warm dust. This is not the Hollywood of the studios but of the canyons above them: the scrubland, the cypress windbreaks, the smell of sun on dry vegetation. ADV finds the place beneath the myth.
In a room, it settles into something quietly woody and grounding — iris and patchouli at the foreground, the drier notes emerging as it warms. The throw is moderate and unhurried; suited to a living room, study, or bedroom where a composed, earthy presence is welcome.
Iris opens with its characteristic cool, faintly powdery depth. Patchouli adds an earthy, resinous body without heaviness. Cedarwood and cypress bring the dry warmth of California hillsides, while eucalyptus sharpens the composition with a thread of green clarity. Vetiver and tonka bean anchor the base — smoky, quietly sweet, and long-lasting.
