Jerusalem is a city of stone and smoke — millennia of sacred use pressed into the walls of its lanes and courtyards. This fragrance moves through it like a pilgrim: from the cool shadows of ancient interiors where incense has burned for centuries, out into the dry air carrying cypress and wild herbs.
In a room, it is deep and resinous — the kind of scent that changes a space rather than simply scenting it. The throw is substantial; it will fill a medium to large room and hold. Best suited to an evening, or anywhere that benefits from weight and presence.
Incense forms the spine of the composition — churchy, slightly smoky, with the particular cool quality of stone interiors. Oud adds its characteristic dark resinous depth, cedar contributing warmth and structure. Nutmeg introduces a dry, faintly spiced warmth at the heart. Galbanum and green notes carry the vegetal, resinous quality of olive-silvered hillsides, while cypress closes the composition with a clean, slightly bitter edge.
