The Lambeth Circle 1725 Dessert Plate is painted with the lively hand of an 18th century original — a central medallion ringed in blue, surrounded by radiating botanical motifs in teal, rust, mustard and deep red, each one applied with the kind of brushstroke that makes no attempt to be uniform. It is a plate that brings character to a table whether in use or on a shelf.
Part of the Delft Collection, a collaboration between Astier de Villatte and John Derian, drawing on the painted pottery tradition of Dutch manufacturers in Delft — a craft with roots reaching back to the 12th century. Stamped with the Astier de Villatte monogram and the initials of the artisan who made it.
Dimensions: 190 × 190 × 15 mm.
