Large Apothicaire Vase

The Large Apothicaire Vase has the presence of a vessel with a long history - full-bellied, footed, and glazed in milky white over terracotta clay, with the authority of something borrowed from an old apothecary or a painter's studio. It holds a single branch as well as it holds an armful, and sits with equal conviction whether empty or full. It is both utilitarian and classical - a piece that brings historical romance to any space.

Handmade in Astier de Villatte's Paris workshops, where each piece is shaped by hand and allowed to dry naturally - the glaze settling into subtle pools and irregularities that make every vase its own.
