Three birds perch on the scalloped rim of the Marguerite Oiseau Bowl — one still, one mid-call, one caught mid-flight — each rendered with the same unhurried hand that defines every piece to leave Astier de Villatte's Paris workshops. The bowl itself fans out in soft petal-like ridges, glazed in white over dark clay, so the natural warmth of the terracotta shows through at the edges and recesses. It is the kind of object that holds its presence on a table or shelf without announcing itself.
Handmade in Paris and stamped with the Astier de Villatte monogram alongside the initials of the artisan who made it. 280 × 280 × 140 mm.
This piece is oversized and fragile. A freight quote will be provided after your order is placed. Complimentary shipping does not apply.
