The Medium Bladderwort Pitcher takes a classic jug form — a shaped spout, a scrolled handle, a body that tapers gently to the base — and carries John Derian's archival botanical imagery across its surface. Trailing stems of bladderwort, in pale green, wind their way around the white ground.
Created in collaboration between Astier de Villatte and New York designer John Derian, the imagery is applied as a fired decal, archival imagery selected by John Derian and fused permanently into the glaze.
