The largest of the three, the Mushroom Ornament (Mother) has a presence that comes from weight as much as scale. Designed by French artist Nathalie Lété in collaboration with Astier de Villatte and made by hand in their Paris workshops, it shares the deep red spotted cap of its companions but carries a broader, flatter crown and a sturdier base — richly textured in dark moss green, as though it has pushed up through forest floor. The stem fades from cream to green, with fine painted lines tracing the grain of something genuinely rooted.
