Porte des Lilas Incense

Porte des Lilas — a 1920s Paris métro station, and beyond its exit, a quieter world. Alleys bordered by pretty houses, garden fences overflowing with mauve lilacs in full bloom. The air is verdant and enveloping — lilac drifting through, threaded with puffs of rose and jasmine, the whole thing caught in the particular stillness of a Parisian afternoon that feels borrowed from another era.

Italian bergamot opens with a clean, citrus brightness — fresh and immediately inviting. Madagascan ylang ylang and Indian sambac jasmine introduce a lush, white floral richness at the heart, rounded by rose and the soft, powdery warmth of heliotrope. Musk draws the whole composition to a clean, skin-close finish that lingers unhurried.
