The Ring Dish by Astier de Villatte, created in collaboration with New York designer John Derian, is a small yet evocative object — where everyday function meets classic imagery.

At its centre, a delicately rendered ring motif is set against the milky white ceramic, drawing the eye inward and lending the piece a quiet narrative quality. Known for his iconic visual language, John Derian brings a sense of nostalgia and charm to Astier’s classic forms, transforming a simple dish into a moment of storytelling.

Handmade in Astier de Villatte’s Parisian workshops, the ceramic is finished in the maison’s signature white glaze, revealing subtle irregularities and glimpses of warm brown clay beneath — a hallmark of its artisanal process.
