A circular disc of oxidised sterling silver, pierced with an open coral-like lattice and finished with an intentionally irregular edge, on a fine sterling silver chain.
Made in Louise Douglas's Nelson studio using the lost wax casting technique, the disc is hand-carved in wax before being cast in sterling silver, hand-finished, and oxidised to a dark antique tone. The open lattice catches the light across its full surface as it moves — substantial in presence but not in weight. The chain threads directly through the disc rather than hanging from a fixed bail, allowing it to sit flat and shift naturally against the body. Finished with a handmade clasp.
