The Small Vénus Dish takes the form of a scallop shell, its ribbed surface fanning out from a raised foot and scrolled at the upper edges. The white enamel glaze settles unevenly along the ridges, showing the clay beneath at the highest points.
Small enough for a bedside table or dressing table, it holds rings, earrings, or other small jewellery.
