Strait Throw (Dusk)

The Strait throw takes its name from that particular quality of the Australian horizon — the way a distant line of water or land holds still against everything moving around it. Here, woven bands of colour run with the same quiet authority: horizontal stripes of varying weight and rhythm that build into something more considered than pattern alone.

Woven in Italy from a fine wool blend, the cloth sits at a medium weight — substantial without heaviness, easy across all seasons. The colourway Dusk draws the palette into its warmest register: terracotta and amber burn against a charcoal ground, with dusty blue and cream holding the heat in check. Finished with a straight cut self-fringe woven from the cloth itself.
