The medium Victor Platter takes an elongated oval, its border rising and falling in a soft, continuous wave rather than a fixed run of scallops. The line moves unevenly around the piece, closer to the edge of a lily pad or a length of fabric caught mid-motion than a formal border.
Part of the Victor Collection, a range of round, elongated, square, and oval dishes that all share this same undulating edge. Substantial enough for a full course, it works equally well for something lighter, such as sliced fruit, laid across its length.
