Woodstock perches at the centre of this candle lid, wings tucked and head turned, rendered in miniature in the same milky white glaze as the rest of the Astier de Villatte range. The lid beneath is broad and slightly domed, built to sit over a glass candle rather than merely rest on top of it.
In place, it holds the scent of the candle and protects the wax from dust between lightings. When the candle has burned through, the lid remains as a small figure in its own right.
